General Manager - Engagement
Penny joined the team at the Advisory Board Centre in March 2020, bringing to the network more than 25 years’ experience gained across professional roles in the UK, Europe and Australia.
Penny’s role as General Manager – Engagement with the Advisory Board Centre is to support, engage with and drive value for advisory board professionals globally, build strong external stakeholder relationships and add value to the advisory board sector and the organisations that these independent professionals serve.
Following nearly fifteen years with Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (formerly ICAA), Penny has a deep understanding of member engagement and value, stakeholder relationship management and driving positive outcomes for members and stakeholders alike. Her networks are expansive, deep and rich and she carefully curates these as a matter of priority. In her mind, relationships are the key to everything.
Penny has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance, has proudly served as a non-executive Director with Australia’s only dedicated charity for Young Women with Breast Cancer, SoBrave; and currently contributes as a member of the Executive Committee for Queensland Private Enterprise Centre (QPEC).
