It’s an evolving profile and I think that’s a terrific thing – organisations continue to look for different skill sets…. They want people who are at the forefront of their career, with expertise in everything from marketing to AI and cyber – and gained through a diversity of experiences.

Margot Anderson is the Founder and CEO of the InSync Network Group, a career advisory service and professional network for expats navigating their return ‘home’.  Margot is a Certified Chair™ and has served on advisory and governance boards for a variety of organisations.  She has seen firsthand the value that international experience can bring to organisations that value diverse thinking, quality connections and impactful leadership.

As part of the Insync podcast series, Margot interviewed Advisory Board Centre CEO Udo Doring. Udo is an expat-repat lifer who calls three countries “home”. Udo shares his personal story as a global citizen having lived and worked across Australia, UK and Asia.  He currently splits his time between bases in Brisbane, Hong Kong and London, growing the global advisory board professional community.

In this podcast, Margot and Udo discuss the growth in advisory boards and the number of new opportunities this growth is presenting to returned Australian expats.
