The Advisory Board Centre is excited to announce the launch of its groundbreaking global research project, marking the most comprehensive study ever conducted into the advisory board sector. Building on the extensive knowledge base established by the Global Research Council, this project delves into the impact, structure, and value of advisory boards within organisations, providing a critical resource for business leaders and advisory professionals alike.

The research project launched in October 2024 at Advisory Board Centre events in Dubai and Singapore, which represent two high growth locations for advisory board adoption and participation.

This unique research offers an unprecedented dual perspective, capturing insights from both organisations that currently utilise or are exploring the implementation of advisory boards, as well as professionals serving in an advisory capacity. By bridging these viewpoints, the study aims to provide a robust understanding of best practices and emerging trends in the advisory sector, enhancing the strategic role advisory boards play in business growth and decision-making.

The research finding will inform the latest edition of the Advisory Board Centre’s State of the Market Global Report slated for publication in May 2025.

• Professionals that serve on advisory boards or have an ambition to serve organisations at a board level
