It is important to acknowledge the depth and breadth of expertise, value and contribution of those who are committed to best practice in the sector.
This in turn builds the professionalism of the advisor community and raises the standards of the sector at large.
In 2022 we launched the Fellow Program to recognise highly experienced and accomplished Certified Chairs™. This is an opportunity to acknowledge these outstanding individuals with an appropriate post-nominal (FABC) and shine a light on their leadership in best practice for advisory boards. As a maturing profession, this exclusive group of endorsed Certified Chairs™ provides a great example for others to follow.

Admission as a Fellow of the Advisory Board Centre is by application or invitation only to current professional members of good standing. The following criteria are mandatory:

Aside from the eligibility criteria, those that wish to become a Fellow are committed to best practice. They might be business owners, directors, founders, C-Suite executives, non-executive directors, leaders or experienced board members.
As a Fellow, you are recognised as being amongst the true leaders of the advisory sector and profession. Our FABC community are raising the standard of the advisory board sector long term. You will remain current by taking part in ongoing collaborative forums, challenging models and best practice methods, and being involved in ongoing research.
On acceptance as a Fellow of the Advisory Board Centre you are entitled to use the post-nominal of (FABC). This will be recognised on your Advisory Board World profile.
As a highly-experienced advisory professional, your expertise may be called upon to evaluate and provide feedback on best practice models and resources.
You may also be asked to share your advisory experiences with others (such as through our member or public webinars), as well as case studies demonstrating best practice. There will also be opportunities for mentorship of other advisory board professionals.
